Raquel Meza joined Orshan, Spann & Fernandez-Mesa in 2012 as a Paralegal. She provides our team and clients with solid, reliable assistance. In addition to family law, Raquel also has prior experience with construction law.
Raquel understands from personal experience how difficult and emotional family law matters can be and the importance of open communication. She helps facilitate this communication between the clients and attorneys. Raquel also strives to manage the immediate needs of our clients with patience and understanding. She has a genuine desire to help our clients feel comfortable and at ease with the legal process. Our attorneys rely on her to draft necessary documents, schedule appointments and court appearances, as well as manage client files.
Raquel graduated from the University of Miami with a Certificate in Paralegal Studies. She has over 9 years of paralegal experience in various fields of law. Prior to joining the legal field, Raquel was interested in aviation and pursuing a career in air traffic control. She also participates as a volunteer to aid in disaster relief efforts as well as providing practical assistance to those in her community. Born in Dominican Republic, she moved to Miami at a young age and resides locally with her husband and son.
